Our newest team member, Brianna Harvey has worked in the field of social work for over 10 years and is most recently joining us from Santa Monica College Guardian Scholars Program. She is passionate about working with former foster youth and is excited to support BGS students in achieving their goals and connecting them with campus resources.
Bruin Guardian Scholars Program Coordinator
Jendalyn Coulter is a junior at UCLA, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Education and Civic Engagement. She currently works as a BGS Career Resource Intern and serves as the BGS Leadership Team’s Vice-President. Jendalyn’s other campus involvements include engaging in Afrikan Student Union, working as an office assistant for Residential Life, and coaching for Bruin Guardian Scholars Academy. As a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, she is conducting her research project on the experiences of foster youth that impact their educational trajectories. Overall, she is very committed to serving underrepresented populations, and hopes to serve through research, advocacy, and community engagement.

Yennifer is a sophomore here at UCLA majoring in Sociology and minoring in Applied Developmental Psychology. She is a mother to her one and a half year old daughter named Athena. She enjoys being a part of the BGS staff and helping other college students like herself succeed.
Carolyn Travis is a sophomore student at UCLA studying Chicana/o Studies. She currently works as a BGS Intern and is passionate in advocating for foster youth. She loves to read Young Adult Sci-fi & Fantasy novels and drink coffee.
